Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1473755A2] The device has a comparator module (31) providing an output signal based on an output signal of a sensor module (30) and a threshold voltage. Logic module (32) provides a logical signal based on the signal of the module (31) and a starting signal. A control module (33) receives an output signal from the module (32) and elaborates a voltage necessary for initialization and extinction of current impulse of a micropoint (10). The threshold voltage allows to adjust quantity of electrons emitted by the micropoint. The logic signal provided by the logical module (32) defines whether the micropoint (10) must emit or must not emit the electrons. An independent claim is also included for a method of controlling amount of electrons emitted by micropoint.
