[origin: WO03068044A1] The invention relates to a floor cleaning device (1) with a hood-type housing (3) that is open toward the bottom in which a spray arm (10) is received so as to be freely rotatable about a vertical rotational axis and with at least one nozzle (11) discharging a cleaning medium towards the open bottom (4) of the housing. A bearing element (8) for the spray arm (10) is disposed in the housing (2) so as to be adjustable in height. Height adjustment is carried out by an adjusting element (21, 23) that can be fastened on the housing (2) in the direction of adjustment of the bearing element and that can be screwed onto an outer thread of the bearing element (8) so as to be rotatable relative to the housing (2). In order to prevent the adjusting element (21, 23) from being unintentionally adjusted, it can be rigidly linked with the housing (2, 29) by means of a detachable connection (26, 28).
