[origin: WO03064098A2] The invention relates to a gas mixture containing hydrogen, carbon dioxide and argon in the following volume proportions: 0.4 to 2 % hydrogen, 0.3 to 2 % carbon dioxide and argon for the remainder (up to 100%). The invention also relates to a method of braze welding galvanised metal parts in which brazing is performed between the parts to be assembled by means of fusion, using at least one electric arc, one metal filler wire and a brazing gas shield which is formed by one such ternary gas mixture.
