Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03066778A1] The invention concerns a method for desulphurization a cracking or steam cracking effluent of hydrocarbons more particularly of a gasoline for example for catalytic cracking including elimination of thiophene compounds by alkylation of said compounds, followed by distillation, hydrocracking of said alkyl-thiophene compounds, then hydrodesulphurization of the effluent derived from the hydrocracking zone. Said method comprises, in a preferred embodiment, a prior step which consists in separating into three fractions the cracking or steam cracking effluent and in submitting to the alkylation step only the depleted intermediate fraction of the heavy basic nitrogenous compounds initially present in the effluents to be alkylated.
