[origin: EP1475015A1] Fitting for a seat that can be converted into a bed comprises arms (8) hinged at one end to a draw (3) and at the other end to the central region of an additional padding (4). Connecting rods (9) mounted at the rear end of the additional padding and connected to further connecting rods (10) mounted on the drawer are pivoted downward by about 180[deg] behind the additional padding to raise the additional padding. A tension spring (14) is arranged between at least one of the arms and the additional padding.
