The sealing device comprises a seal body (DK) for fitting against the inner wall of the tube. The end of the tube is between the seal body and a clamping insert (KE), possibly in two axial parts. The clamping insert has one or more grooves to assist clamping, which are deformed over the seal body by the effect of the pressure.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Abdichten der Enden eines Hohlprofils (R) beim Innenhochdruckumformen, wobei eine Öffnung eines Hohlkörpers mittels eines Dichtkörpers (DK) verschlossen wird, der gegen die Innenwand des Hohlprofils verspannbar ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist dass das Ende des Hohlprofils (R) zwischen dem Dichtkörper (DK) und einem Klemmeinsatz (KE) angeordnet und weist der Klemmeinsatz (KE) ein oder mehrere Nuten zur Bildung von Klemmsicken auf, welche durch Druckeinwirkung über Dichtkörpers (DK) geformt werden. <IMAGE>
