Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1475205A2] Device for longitudinal orientation of elongated scattering material, especially flat elongated wood chips (strands) used in the manufacture of oriented strand board, comprises an orientation unit (5) for scattering the scattering material in a longitudinally oriented manner onto a continuous belt (6). The orientation unit consists of parallel rotating shafts with vertically aligned disks (10) arranged an axial distance part. Blade elements (11) arranged between axially adjacent disks form chambers. Preferred Features: Four blade elements are uniformly distributed between two adjacent disks.
