Abstract (en)
The buckle folding mechanism has at least one fold plate (24) with an entry opening (25), and a paper stop (26). In front of the entry opening is a first pair of fold rollers (18,20) for transporting a sheet (12) to the fold plate, and a second pair (20,22) for transporting and folding the sheet after it has come up against the stop. The transporting speed of the two roller pairs is adjustable independently of each other. A driven roller (20) forms a fold roller both of the first roller pair and the second roller pair. All the rollers may be driven by a common servo motor (SV1) or separately by individual servo motors (SV1,SV2,SV3). An independent claim is included for a method for the folding of a sheet of paper whereby the transporting speed of a first roller pair is reduced shortly before the leading edge of the sheet comes up against a stop.

Das Taschenfalzwerk umfasst wenigstens eine Falztasche (24) mit einer Einlauföffnung (25) und einen Bogenanschlag (26), wobei vor der Einlauföffnung (25) ein erstes Falzwalzenpaar (18, 20) für einen Transport eines Bogens (12) in die Falztasche (24) und ein zweites Falzwalzenpaar (20, 22) für einen Transport und eine Falzung des Bogens (12) nach Auftreffen des Bogens (12) auf den Bogenanschlag (26) angeordnet sind. Um eine Produktionsleistung bei optimaler Falzqualität zu erreichen, ist die Transportgeschwindigkeit der Falzwalzenpaare (18, 20; 20, 22) unabhängig voneinander einstellbar. <IMAGE>
