Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1475479A2] A sound absorbing wall element is made from flat material, e.g. metal, and has a raster pattern of openings(15, 16) formed between vertical and horizontal bars (13, 14). The openings are filled with a fibrous material to provide a grip for climbing plants which eventually cover the wall element. Lines of opening are flanked by horizontal, angled strips (19). The wall elements have turned over edges to grip insulation panels.
