An in-the-ear hearing aid has a housing or hearing aid device with an Oto-plastik carried in the ear. A first magnetic or magnetizable element (11) is arranged in or on the housing or in or on the Oto-plastik, together with a second magnetic or magnetizable element (12), arranged behind-the-ear or implanted in the ear to function together with the first magnetic or magnetizable element to hold or fix the housing or the Oto-plastik in the ear. Bei einem im Ohr getragenen Hörhilfegerät (10, 10') oder einem Hörhilfegerät (5) mit in dem Ohr getragener Otoplastik (6, 6') ist in oder an dem Gehäuse des Hörhilfegerätes (10, 10') bzw. in oder an der Otoplastik (6, 6') ein erstes magnetisches oder magnetisierbares Element (8, 8', 11, 11') angeordnet. Dieses wirkt mit einem hinter dem Ohr angeordneten oder in das Ohr implantierten zweiten magnetischen oder magnetisierbaren Element (12 bzw. 7) zusammen, so dass durch die Anziehungskraft der beiden magnetischen oder magnetisierbaren Elemente (7, 8, 8'; 11, 11', 12) eine zusätzliche Halterung und Fixierung des Hörhilfegerätes (10, 10') bzw. der Otoplastik (6, 6') im Ohr erreicht wird.
