[origin: WO03070429A1] The invention relates to a fastening tool for fixing plastic parts to objects, whereby the plastic parts are supplied in the form of a strip. According to the invention, the plastic parts are linked to one another by means of at least one flexible connecting element. The fastening tool is designed for advancing the strip by means of an advancing device (62) in such a manner that one plastic part at a time is guided into a fastening position (18). The advancing device (62) comprises a fluid drive (64) that is coupled to an advancing wheel (84) via a translation-rotation converter (68, 70, 72). Said advancing wheel is rotationally mounted on the fastening tool and is designed for engaging with the strip in a positive or non-positive manner in order to advance the same. The translation-rotation converter (68, 70, 72, 80) comprises a free-wheel (72) whose driving wheel (74) is coupled to the fluid drive (64) and whose driven wheel (76) is coupled to the advancing wheel (84) in a rotationally fixed manner.
