Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03070589A1] The invention concerns a device for assembling together two tubular elements (1, 2) assembled by partial relative coaxial rotation, said device consisting of first (3, 5) and second (4, 6) guiding and mating means arranged on the surfaces designed to be urged opposite the tubular elements (1, 2) to be connected. Said device is characterized in that the first and second guiding means consist of a plurality of inclined ramps (3, 4) in the closing direction and brought into pressure contact when the two tubular elements (1, 2) move coaxially relative to each other, and the first mating means consist of a plurality of locking blocks (5) arranged in the inner wall of the overlapping tubular element (2) and arranged respectively between the two sloping ramps (3) adjacent the covering tubular elements (2), one outer surface (5A) of each of said blocks (5) being urged to be positioned beneath the second mating means (6) of the covered tubular element (1).
