[origin: WO03067742A1] The invention relates to a securing device for securing an annular magnet (2) to a rotor shaft (3) of an electric machine. Said annular magnet (2) is used in order to determine the speed of the rotor shaft and/or the rotational direction of the rotor shaft. A first front face (S1) of the annular magnet (2) lies in contact with a component (9) securely fixed to the rotor shaft (3). A second front face (S2) of the annular magnet (2) lies in contact with a securing element arranged on the rotor shaft (3). Said securing element (4, 14, 30) provides a pretensioning force in an axial direction (A) and in a radial direction (R) in order to enable longitudinal compensation of heat related longitudinal alterations.
