The element (1) is assembled of a backrest (3) comprising two padded rear panels joined in an angle and provided with a recess in its lower area for the insertion of the rear area of the triangular seat part (2). Both parts (2, 3) can be safely connected after assembly with one horizontally positioned and one vertically positioned swivel end and loop fastener (4) in order to resist the forces acting on the device from both directions. When the straight sofa elements are attached to both sides of the corner element (1) the fastening elements (4) are hidden in the gaps between them.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Polstermöbel-Eckelement (1) mit einem Sitz (2) und einer Rückenlehne (3). Erfindungsgemäß besteht das Polstermöbel-Eckelement (1) aus zwei lösbar miteinander verbundenen Baugruppen. Die beiden Baugruppen eines derartigen Polstermöbel-Eckelementes (1) können zu Transportzwecken voneinander getrennt und jede Baugruppe für sich leicht und problemlos bei beengten Platzverhältnissen transportiert werden. Dies wird zusätzlich im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes dadurch erleichtert, dass selbstverständlich jede Baugruppe ein deutlich geringeres Gewicht hat als das Polstermöbel-Eckelement (1) im zusammengebauten Zustand. Eine besonders zweckmäßige Ausführungsform der Erfindung sieht vor, dass eine Baugruppe des Polstermöbel-Ecklementes (1) aus der Rückenlehne (2) und die andere Baugruppe aus dem Sitz (2) besteht. <IMAGE>
