[origin: EP1477279A2] The two clamping jaws (7, 8) of the spring tensioning device (1) are of a different shape. The clamping jaw (7) holding the outer end (11) of the telescopic bar (10) is open at the top (17) and attached to the bar (10) with a fork-shaped lower area (5). The clamping jaw (8) positioned adjacent to the spring seat (21) is of a rectangular shape and is also fitted with a fork-shaped lower area (6) with a cranked transitional section between the upper and the lower part. The opening for the insertion of the slightly conical strut is rounded at the lower side, has two concave central sections opposite each other, and a straight edge with rounded corners at the top.
