The invention relates to a casing assembly for holding a panel (6), preferably a window pane or a window, or a leaf, comprising a casing (200) comprising: a hollow synthetic main profile (4) having an almost closed, circumferential profile wall, first fastening members (24) at the outside (2) of the main profile (4) when the main profile (4) is mounted in a building, and second fastening members (23) at at least one clear; a first profile member (26) provided with profile member fastening members cooperating with the first fastening members (24), and a second profile member (21) provided with profile member fastening members cooperating with the second fastening members (23).
