Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1477637A2] The device has first and second electromagnets (2,3) at a distance apart, each with a yoke and a coil, an armature (6-8) with a plate (8) between the electromagnets for movement in one or other direction by applying current to one of the electromagnets. The armature shaft (6,7) is guided in a bearing in at least one yoke. A housing part (9,10) at least partly enclosed by an electromagnet and the bearing forming an integral part of it consist of a cast material.
