[origin: WO03072413A1] The invention relates to a floating lateral support for two successive wagon structures (1) and (2), articulated on a single railway bogie, comprising a bogie suspension unit or axle bar on each side of the central articulation of the bogie, on which is displaceably mounted, by means of a support bearing plate (20), a support (21) with an articulation providing a displacement between said support bearing plate (20) and a end toe (24) which represents a first functional displacement, whilst the other end toe (25) has an intermittent mechanical connection by means of a frictional support contact between the lower face thereof and the upper face of said bearing support plate (20) which represents another functional displacement between a support position and a raised position. The invention is of interest to rolling stock producers, particularly with a common bogie.
