[origin: WO03071329A1] Disclosed is an optical plug-in connection (10), particularly for connecting polarization-maintaining optical fibers, comprising at least two plug-in connectors and a coupler into which the plug-in connectors are plugged from opposite ends. The optical fiber to be connected is fixed to the fiber end of a ferrule (21, 22) in each of the plug-in connectors. The coupler is provided with a guiding device (11, 19), into which the ferrules (21, 22) enter from opposite ends when the plug-in connectors are plugged into the coupler. Also provided are means (17, 23, 24; 18, 25, 26) for positioning the ferrules (21, 22) at an angle from each other. The ferrules can be positioned in relation to each other in a much more precise manner by means of such an optical plug-in connection by configuring the positioning means (17, 23, 24; 18, 25, 26) in such a way that the ferrules (21, 22) are placed at an angle that is relative to the guiding device (11, 19) when the plug-in connectors are plugged into the coupler.
