Abstract (en)
[origin: WO03067562A1] Method of hanging an information carrier in front of the front of a shelf (6), in which a label holder (1) for labels with price and merchandise information is mounted on the shelf front (7). The label holder comprises a rear mounting part (2) and a front, fold-up part (3) with an upwardly open pocket arranged on the rear side for receiving labels. The information carrier (9)is hung on the rear side of the fold-up part (3) of the label holder (1) by being hooked firmly in the upwardly open pocket thereof, so that a lower part of the information carrier, which bears the desired information, for example in the form of an inscription and/or a holder for pieces of paper to be taken away, projects down below the label holder. An upper part of the information carrier (9) projects up into the space between the rear mounting part (2) of the label holder (1) and its fold-up part (3), essentially to a part connecting these parts and made as a hinge, so that, in the folded-down position of ht fold-up part, the upper part of the information carrier is fixed between the fold-up part and the mounting part. The invention also relates to an information carrier for use in applying the method.
