The protective body accommodates a key body (2) or is fitted onto a key body in a close-fitting manner with a one-piece, shell-like hollow body of hard plastic with apertures (7). Alternatively, the body can be of two parts (5,6) and a snap connection can be provided between different ends of the hollow body.
