Edge-gluing device (6) for a program-controlled machine for pressing an edge band (5) onto adjoining narrow sides (2, 3) of a plate-like workpiece (1) made of a wood substitute material comprises a pressure roller (8), and a feed path (9) for the edge band upstream of the pressure roller on which a cutting device is arranged for cutting the edge band. A grooving saw (17) is arranged on a carriage that can be adjusted in the direction of the edge band and can be moved perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the edge band. The carriage has a circular saw blade (18) with a plane of rotation that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the edge band. The grooving saw is activated via the machine program to cut the edge band at those positions subjected to bending during pressing.

Ein solches Kantenanleimaggregat dient zum Anfahren eines Kantenbandes (5) an die Schmalseiten eines plattenförmigen Werkstücks aus einem Holzersatzstoff. Es hat eine Andruckrolle zum Anpressen des Kantenbandes (5), welches eine Zuführstrecke (9) im Aggregat durchläuft, an der eine Ablängvorrichtung zum Durchtrennen des Kantenbandes (5) angeordnet ist. Um das Kantenmaterial auch über enge Biegungen oder Eckkanten hinweg sauber auftragen und verkleben zu können, weist das Kantenanleimaggregat ferner eine Nutsäge (17) auf. Diese Nutsäge (17) wird über das Maschinenprogramm zwecks Einschneidens des Kantenbandes (5) an solchen Stellen, die beim Anfahren starker Biegung unterworfen werden, aktiviert und führt mit einem Kreissägeblatt (18), dessen Rotationsebene senkrecht zur Längsrichtung des Kantenbandes (5) steht, eine Bewegung in Querrichtung des Kantenbandes (5) bei jedem Arbeitsspiel aus.
