Method for producing a warp sample in which a number of threads (21, 21') are unrolled from a rotary creel (7) and fed around the circumference of a warp drum (1) on a transport surface arrangement (2). Necessary threads (21') are taken out of the warp path as required and re-used in an auxiliary transport device (24) in the area of the axle of the warp drum and further transported towards the rotary creel. To prevent threads falling from the auxiliary transport device it can be driven temporarily faster than the main transport surface arrangement. The invention also relates to a corresponding sample warping machine.

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Erzeugen einer Musterkette angegeben, bei dem man mehrere Fäden (21, 21') von einem rotierenden Drehgatter (7) abzieht, um den Umfang einer Schärtrommel (1) führt und auf einer am Umfang der Schärtrommel parallel zur Achse der Schärtrommel (1) bewegbaren Transportflächenanordnung (2) ablegt, wobei man zeitweilig nicht benötigte Fäden (21') aus dem Schärvorgang herausnimmt und bis zu ihrer Wiederverwendung auf eine im Bereich der Achse der Schärtrommel (1) befindliche Hilfstransportvorrichtung (24) wikkelt und mit dieser in eine Richtung vom Drehgatter (7) weg transportiert. Man möchte den Abfall an Fäden möglichst gering halten. Hierzu ist vorgesehen, daß die Hilfstransportvorrichtung (24) zumindest zeitweilig schneller als die Transportflächenanordnung (2) bewegt wird. <IMAGE>
