Abstract (en)

[origin: DE10313597A1] Cooking oven has an electrical heating unit, operating controls, a temperature regulator and an electronic clock (10). The latter has a display panel (12) for digital time display and is used to set a cooking time. The display panel has at least a pictogram (18) that is controlled by a control unit, dependent on a predetermined operating condition, especially whether it is switched on or not, of the oven, and indicates when a predetermined cooking state exists.
