[origin: WO03073903A1] The invention relates to a spring arrangement for the closing flap (14) of a vacuum cleaner filter bag (12), which is characterized in that the spring element (10) is configured as an extension spring that is mounted on the side of the closing flap (14) on which it extends across the hinge thereof and which is tension-loaded when the closing flap (14) is opened. The fastening points of the spring element (10) on the closing flap (12) and on the filter bag (12) are disposed in such a manner that it freely extends across the hinge up to a defined angle of opening of the closing flap (14) and that it is bent to rest on an edge or a surface disposed on or next to the hinge axis at a greater angle of opening.
