[origin: WO03072371A1] The invention relates to a valuable article (1) which comprises at least one security element, disposed on the surface thereof and including a print image. Said print image contains at least two different colors (F1, F2) one of which has a thermochromic property. According to the invention, the print image includes at least one print image element (2, 3, 4, 5) which is at least partially realized in microprint, in which the two colors (F1, F2) are disposed so as to exactly fit or to overlap, thereby producing a print image element (2, 3, 4, 5). The invention also relates to a suitable method for generating such a print image for a security element and to methods for generating the finished valuable article.
