[origin: WO03074404A1] The invention relates to a device for detecting and/or adjusting a tensile force in a yarn (10). Said device comprises three subsequent deflection elements (11, 12, 13) for the yarn, whereby the center deflection element (12) is movably held by a retainer (14). Said retainer is received in such a manner that the movement and/or position of the deflection element (12) is substantially only subject to the tensile force F2 in a yarn section that lies between the movable deflection element (12) and only one of the two adjacent deflection elements (11 or 13).
