[origin: WO03071208A1] The invention relates to a compartment base for a refrigeration device comprising a glass plate (15) and edge sealing parts (10, 11) that are attached to one edge (16) of said plate. The edge sealing parts comprise two limbs (1, 2) and a strut (3) that connects the limbs, said limbs and strut forming respectively the lateral walls and the base of a groove. One of the limbs (1, 2) has at least one local projection (7) that is directed towards the groove and the strut (3) has an opening (6) on the level of the projection.
