Abstract (en)
[origin: WO03046644A1] The invention concerns an elastic hinge for spectacle frame, comprising first (1) and second (3) hinge elements including respectively first (21) and second (7) charniers provided with perforations (23, 25A, 25B) for receiving a pivot pin (5) when the second charnier (7) is engaged between two faces (21A, 21B) of the first charnier (21) so as to cause the perforations to be superimposed along a common axial direction (A) countering the compression of a spring (9) housed in one of the hinge elements. The invention is characterized in that the pivot pin comprises two heads (5A, 5B) and a body (5C) integral with both heads to be engaged in translation through the perforations (23, 25A, 25B) of the charniers (7, 21) until both heads (5A, 5B) are received in the perforations (25A, 25B) of the two faces (21A, 21B) of the first charnier (21), the body forming relative to both heads a recess (D) to be received in the perforation (23) of the second charnier (7) by offsetting the latter (7) relative to the axial direction (A) of the perforations (25A, 25B) of the first charnier (21) countering the compression of the spring (9).
