Helmet comprises a shell (1) and an anti-theft device (3) consisting of an engagement part forming a closed metal loop (4) for producing a connection to a vehicle which is anchored on the inner side of the shell so that it can be adjusted between a lower position in which it is located within the shell and a position of use in which it protrudes out of the shell. The anti-theft device has an anchoring part which is fixed on the inner side so that it can be displaced or rotated on the shell and a continuous metal connection is created between the loop and the anchoring part. Preferred Features: The connection between the anchoring part and the loop is produced by an elongated connecting part.

Der Helm weist eine Diebstahlsicherung (3) auf, welche eine Schlaufe (4) zum Eingriff mit einem Helmschloss umfasst, die durch ein mit der Schlaufe (4) einstückiges, aus Stahldraht geflochtenes, schwer durchtrennbares Band (5) mit einem in einer Längsführung (7) an der Innenseite einer Schale (1) beschränkt verschiebbaren Querbolzen (6) verbunden ist, so dass die Diebstahlsicherung (3) zwischen einer versenkten Lage und einer Gebrauchslage verstellbar ist. Alternativ kann die Diebstahlsicherung auch drehbar an der Innenseite der Schale verankert sein. Sie kann dazu als geschlossenes Stahlseil ausgebildet sein, bei dem eine Schlaufe zum Eingriff mit dem Helmschloss durch parallele Abschnitte mit einer die Basis eines an der Innenseite der Schale verankerten Knopfes knapp umgebenden weiteren Schlaufe verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
