Abstract (en)
The valve has a body circulated with refrigerant under control of a needle valve (134). A bulb (200) filled with a control fluid exerts a control pressure on a membrane (33) based on overheating conditions. The control fluid is a refrigerant fluid. The membrane acts on the needle valve based on the control pressure. The bulb is placed on a path of the refrigerant between outlet of a condenser and inlet of the valve. An independent claim is also included for an air conditioning circuit comprising a thermostatic expansion valve.
