[origin: EP1482764A1] The circuit arrangement (10) has an electric motor (M) for connection via a resistance (2a,2b) to a voltage and a heating resistance (R1) also for connection to the voltage. The motor and resistance form a series circuit, a switch (S2) and the heating resistance form a series circuit and the series circuits are connected in parallel. The junction of the switch and heating resistance is connected via a further electrical component to the resistance.
