The cleaning device (1) has a locating part (2) in which the cutting head can be inserted, a cleaning fluid being supplied to said cutting head, in addition to a container (3) for storing said cleaning liquid. The locating part (2) and the container (3) are connected by means of a return line (20). An air extracting device (10) ensures reliable and silent ventilation and/or air extraction in the container (14) so that the cleaning liquid can flow troublefree back into the container (3).
