[origin: WO03071400A2] The invention concerns a method for representing a first entity (U) by a third party entity (2) who is addressed by a second entity (FS) to request sensitive data (DS) from the first entity. The securing method consists in controlling the transmission of part at least of the sensitive data using a personal electronic medium (14) held by the first entity (U). Said medium can itself contain the sensitive data instead of the third party entity, and/or means for selectively locking or unlocking the third party entity if the latter holds it. The medium can be in the form of a smart card, for example a SIM card for the mobile telephone system.
