[origin: EP1484000A1] Blunt scraper comprises a receiving part (11) for an exchangeable scraper blade (13) and a protecting part (12) completely covering the scraper blade in a protecting position and uncovering its cutting edge region (13a) in an operating position. The receiving part and the protecting part are held together by a coupling element in an elastic manner. The coupling element is formed by at least one catch protrusion (15) molded in a form-locking manner on one of the parts and a counter protrusion (19, 20) on the other part engaging behind and interacting with the catch protrusion. When the scraper blade is moved out of its protected position into its operating position and vice versa the catch and counter protrusions are mutually placed under a constant pre-tension holding the receiving part to the protecting part via their specific material elasticity.
