Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1484092A1] The skate includes a base (4) adapted to support a user's boot, a frame equipped with wheels and having a transverse arch in its central portion, and at least one rear quarter (11) capable of sliding on the base and adapted to surround the heel zone and the lower leg of the boot. The base has two edges (7,8) that project upwardly and surround the lower portion of the rear quarter. Each of the two edges has a longitudinal groove (10) capable of receiving a platform (20) provided on the outer sides of the rear quarter. An attaching mechanism allows the attachment of the rear quarter to the base in various positions.
