Abstract (en)
Overflow and drainage fitting for sanitary appliances comprises an overflow pipe connected to a drainage opening and having in the flow direction firstly a vertical channel and after an overflow edge a return channel. On reaching a pre-determined water level (27) in the sanitary appliance, the overflow pipe forms a closed flow (34) that removes water from the sanitary appliance. Preferred Features: The discharge rate of the closed flow is greater than a maximally permissible incoming rate, especially greater than about 0.61/sec.

Die Überlauf- und Ablaufgarnitur weist ein Überlaufrohr (5) auf, das mit der Ablauföffnung des Sanitärapparates (2) verbunden ist. In Strömungsrichtung gesehen besitzt das Überlaufrohr (5) zuerst einen Steigkanal (18) und nach einer Überlaufkante (6) einen Rücklaufkanal (19). Das Überlaufrohr (5) bildet beim Erreichen eines vorbestimmten Wasserniveaus (27) im Sanitärapparat (2) eine geschlossenen Strömung (34), welche aus dem Sanitärapparat (2) Wasser absaugt. Aufgrund der höheren Absaugleistung der geschlossenen Strömung (34) kann das Überlaufrohr (5) mit kleinerem Querschnitt gebaut werden. <IMAGE>
