Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1484553A2] The burner has a core-air annular channel (11) concentrically round the atomizer jet (10) of the support burner and also round the main-air annular channel (4) which creates the weak mixture. A flame stabilizing ring (13) is provided in the adjacent end regions of the main-air and core-air channels. with cross-section surface widening conically towards the combustion chamber to create a recirculation zone (17).
