Abstract (en)
The installation has an unwinding unit that unwinds a support strip and passes the strip in a de-bender that reshapes the strip. A powder paint coating cabin functions according to electrostatic powdering procedure for coating the strip with powder paint. A near infra-red (NIR) baking furnace hardens the painting. A cooling and drying unit cools heating units and the strip before re-winding the strip into a coil. An independent claim is also included for a method for coating a support.
