Ink-jet printing material with a base plus ink-absorbing layer(s) (A) and dye-fixing layer(s) (B), in which the upper side of (B) is coated with water-soluble hydroxyaryl-sulfonic acid(s) (I) showing a pKa value of 0.5-2.0 in 0.01-M aqueous solution, so that the coated layer shows a surface pH of 2.5-4.0.

Ein Ink-Jet-Aufzeichnungsmaterial mit einem Träger, mindestens einer tintenabsorbierenden und mindestens einer farbstofffixierenden Schicht, bei dem auf der oberen Seite der farbstofffixierenden Schicht eine α-Hydroxycarbonsäure und mindestens eine wasserlösliche Hydroxyarylsulfonsäure angeordnet ist, die in einer 0,01 molaren wässrigen Lösung einen Säureexponenten pKa von 0,5 bis 2,0 aufweist und wobei der Oberflächen-pH-Wert der beschichteten fabstofffixierenden Schicht 2,5 bis 4,0 beträgt, weist eine verbesserte Ozon- und Lichtstabilität auf.
