Abstract (en)

In a hotmelt textile spinning process a filament (3) or a filament yarn (5) is discharged into a holding can (17). The filament or yarn are subsequently converted and strengthened by drawing and tearing into staple fibre. The conversion process is integrated within the filament or yarn production process. Also claimed is a commensurate filament spinning machine with a hotmelt spinning station, The spinning machine also incorporates filament tear conversion unit (9) positioned between the the hotmelt spinning stage and drafting stage.

Das Verfahren umfasst einen Schmelz-Spinnprozess für die Erzeugung eines Filamentgams (3) oder eines aus einer Vielzahl von Filamentgarnen bestehenden Filamentkabels (5), welches aufgespult beziehungsweise in einem Behältnis (17) abgelegt wird. Anschliessend wird das Filamentgarn (3) oder Filamentkabel (5) einem Reisskonvertierprozess zugeführt, bei dem es gedehnt und in Stapelfasern zerrissen und das so gebildete Faserband verfestigt wird. Der Reisskonvertierprozess ist in den Prozess zur Herstellung des Filamentgarns (3) oder Filamentkabels (5) integriert. Die Filamentspinnmaschine enthält eine Schmelz-Spinneinrichtung (2, 4) für die Erzeugung eines Filamentgarns (3) oder eines aus einer Vielzahl von Filamantgarnen bestehenden Filamentkabels (5) und eine integrierte Reisskonvertiereinrichtung (9). <IMAGE>
