[origin: DE10213784C1] The kitchen drain fitting (1) has a flange (4) around its periphery for mounting to a work surface. The flange has a sealing putty (12) positioned around the flange to allow sealing onto the work surface. The flange also has spacers (14) along its circumference, with are flexible to allow spacing of the flange from the work surface without pressure from a user. The flexibility allows a horizontal adjustment of the drain and pressure causes the sealing putty to contact the work surface.
