[origin: WO03078780A1] The invention relates to a seal, in particular for a smoke-protection sliding door, comprising at least one displaceable leaf (1, 2). An elastic sealing element (3) is located on the front face of said leaf in a closing direction, said element being provided with two arc-shaped curved sealing lips (6), whose free ends (7) face one another and are placed at a distance from one another, forming an intermediate gap (9). The seal is provided with a strut (10), which bridges the intermediate gap (9) and is connected to the sealing lips (6) by means of predetermined breaking points (11). The aim of the invention is to adapt a seal of this type simply and at low production cost to various deformation requirements.
