[origin: EP1488894A1] The unit has a blade carrier (1) with blade (2) and plug connector (3) for a coupling part (4) on a hand grip (5). Blade carrier and plug connector are connected by a flexible part (6) and are an integral plastic part. An additional flexible plastic component (7) is formed around the connection, so that the reinforced connection part has defined bending and spring characteristics in at least two axial directions. The flexible component is stretched by a momentum in mathematically positive direction, applied via the grip, relative to the main contact surface (8) of the razor unit on the shaved surface, and is upset by a momentum in mathematically negative direction.
