[origin: EP1488935A2] The device has magnetic coding produced on a flexible carrying substrate simultaneously with possible transparent cut-outs in the form of patterns, characters, letters, geometric figures, lines, holes and similar by printing in situ. The coding can be read both by the individually defined code elements and from the different intensity of the magnetic field strength. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a film material with magnetic coding (b) a method of manufacturing a film material with magnetic coding (c) a method of manufacturing a security element with magnetic coding (d) a printing tool for manufacturing a security element with magnetic coding (e) a method of manufacturing an inventive tool (f) a valuable document with a security element (g) a valuable paper with a security element; and (h) packaging with a security element.
