A papermaking assembly has a blow or suction box (5) in contact with a rotating (A) perforated drum (1) mantle (3). Contact between the box and mantle is effected by sealing strips (6, 7). The box (5) pressure or suction zone has a nozzle through which fluid is introduced or abstracted in close proximity to the seals (6, 7). The suction/blow nozzle extends the entire width of the drum. A suction/blow pipe (8) is located in the gusset between the moving web (4) and drum mantle (3), through which fluid is either abstracted or introduced.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Saug- oder Blaseinrichtung (5) mit einer an eine bewegte, Perforationen (2) aufweisende Materialfläche, insbesondere an den Mantel (3) einer Saug- oder Blaswalze (1), angrenzenden Unterdruck- oder Überdruckzone, insbesondere in einer Maschine zur Herstellung einer Papier-, Karton-, Tissue- oder einer anderen Faserstoffbahn (4). Die Unterdruck- oder Überdruckzone ist mit wenigstens einer Dichtungseinrichtung, die an die bewegte Materialfläche angrenzt, ausgestattet, wobei die Dichtungseinrichtung eine mit der bewegten Fläche zusammenwirkende erste auflaufseitige und zweite ablaufseitige Dichtleiste (6, 7) aufweist. Die Saug- oder Blaseinrichtung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in der Umgebung der Unterdruckzone eine Einrichtung zum Einbringen eines Fluids bzw. zum Absaugen eines Fluids angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
