[origin: EP1489253A1] The swing window has a drive rod fitting (3), to allow a swing movement into the open position to give a ventilation gap between the window frame (1) and the window pane (2). A handle (13) sets the window mechanism to be open or closed manually or by shifting the drive rod. Locking studs (10,10',14,41) at the window pane engage structured openings (11,11') at the window frame.
