Abstract (en)
The horizontal blind (10), for a window or door, has an upper (12) and a lower (13) rail, with a number of slats (11) between them. The upper and lower rails move vertically with a free adjustment through end units (21) on side cords, secured to the four corners of the window/door. At least one spring mechanism (24) is fitted to a rail, independently of their position. The side units for the blind rails allow the cords through and also apply a friction lock on them.

Eine Horizontal-Jalousie für Fenster- oder Türöffnungen mit einer Oberschiene (12) und einer Unterschiene (13), zwischen denen eine Vielzahl von Lamellen (11) angeordnet sind, wobei die Oberschiene (12) und die Unterschiene (13) in vertikaler Richtung frei verstellbar an Spannschnüren angeordnet sind und die Spannschnüre in den vier Ecken der Fenster- oder Türöffnung befestigt und mittels mindestens eines in wenigstens einer der Schienen (12, 13) angeordneten Federmechanismus (24) unabhängig von der Stellung der Ober- und Unterschiene (12, 13) in gespanntem Zustand gehalten sind. <IMAGE>
