Abstract (en)
[origin: DE10212829A1] Cosmetic or dermatological compositions, with 2 room temperature liquid phases and with the lipid phase being droplets of average diameter 1-5 mm and size 0.1-10 mm, have: (1) a lipid phase of interfacial tension at least 30 mN/m; (2) oxides or silicates of di- or tri-valent metals present at 0.01-5 wt.%; (3) an aqueous phase with an alcohol content of 25-55 wt.% of the total composition; and (4) a density ratio of the aqueous to the lipid phase of 0.8:1-1:1.25. An Independent claim is also included for production of the composition by mixing the oxide or silicate with the lipid phase and then stirring the mixture into the aqueous phase.
