Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03076364A1] The invention relates to a method of forming a metallic or ceramic part. The inventive method consists in: forming a mixture comprising a metallic or ceramic powder, an organic binder and a vehicle; forming the aforementioned mixture such that it has a shape similar to that of the part; gelling the mixture in said shape; and removing the vehicle. The method is characterised in that the mixture also comprises a gelling agent which performs a chemical reaction with the organic binder and forms an irreversible gel with same, in that the mixture is carried out at a first temperature at which said chemical reaction does not occur, and in that the above-mentioned gelling takes place at a second temperature at which the chemical reaction occurs with instantaneous gelling of the mixture.
